Miramar Resort, Provo

Positioned above the Turtle Cove marina with a beautiful, panoramic view of northern Providenciales, the Miramar resort offers luxury in the form of peace and quiet, hospitality and low-key charm. The friendly staff, under direction from Marie, are extremely pleasant and are quick to resolve any difficulty you may have.

If you are looking for Club Med and an entertainment director, this isn't the place for you. If, however, your ideal resort is one in which you feel you are the only guest then book an ocean-view room at the Miramar. A nice breakfast and some strong island coffee are available right outside your room (after 8am, please) on the terrace (pictured).

Venture forth and visit Camille and crew at Provo Ponies for a little horseback riding on the beach. They'll send Sonny to come pick you up at the Miramar. Snorkeling is great in Provo and you'd do well to check out Coral Cardens.

If you're thirsty and the six nation's rugby happens to be on, stop down to Danny Buoy's in the Saltmills for a brew. Tell Sean the Canuck I sent you.
