I had the pleasure to learn Egyptian Hieroglyphics (ANTH 4789) from Professor Ayad. I will always remember the way he started each class; with each of us reciting Ankh Oudja Seneb to indicate our readiness for the lesson.
Prof Ayad's teaching resonated with me and I will keep him in fond memory.
